Looking for an Intern to support our Communication Department and to be Based at Cheshire CBR Programme

The overall task to support the organisation visibility such as creation/management of website, social media activities and support implementation of the communication strategies.

The specific Tasks for the Intern include;

  1. Contribute to creation of website and social media (facebook, twitter/whatsapp)
  2. Creating and uploading relevant articles, audio files, images/photographs and video on the website and social media
  3. Promoting the image of Cheshire CBR; branding, advertising, capture documentaries, events and campaigns
  4. Contributing to the development and execution of communications material

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills.

Cheshire homes Society of Zambia launches a project on the Youth action in the implementation and monitoring of disability rights

Cheshire Homes Society of Zambia launched a project which will jointly be implemented in partnership with Leonard Cheshire Disability Zimbabwe and DAPP on the implementation and monitoring of disability rights in Zambia and Zimbabwe. This project is being funded by the European Union. In Zambia the launch was officiated by Honourable Minister for Community Development and Social services Hon, Olipa Phiri MP. Therefore several key stakeholders such as Senior Government Officials, Civil Society Organisations, Disabled People’s Organisation, the media, Youth with disabilities, Learning institutions were among people present during this event.
